    About Us

Red Hill is the last home and burial place of Virginia's first governor, Patrick Henry. Declared a National Memorial in 1986, Red Hill exhibits the largest collection of Patrick Henry artifacts in the world and interprets the life of Henry and his enslaved people. Natural wonders such as the National Champion Osage orange tree make Red Hill a unique place in Virginia history.
