POSITION SUMMARY
The Comfort Advisor is a professional representative of Rogers Heating & Cooling. This role is to deliver the most efficient, highest quality experience in residential HVAC sales. They will meet with clients in their homes to discuss their heating and cooling needs and present solutions to make their personal space more comfortable. Additionally, they will develop marketing strategies to reach new customers and maintain relationships with current customers to determine other needs.

OBJECTIVES
? Meeting the client’s needs and wants while meeting the minimum budgeted sales as outlined below
? Prepare and present home energy improvement proposals to homeowner’s in-person at their home
? Selling home service products and meeting established company standards and sales expectations
? Understand and capably present financing options that are offered by approved financing companies
? Actively follow-up on all sales leads and customer requests
? Provide excellent customer service. Our comfort advisors own the job from the sales presentation through the installation of the equipment including any follow-up visits
? Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. The Comfort Advisor is responsible for financing paperwork as well as ensuring collection of cash payments.
? Develop options for each client to match their needs, wants and budgets.
? Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the products and services we provide.
? Conduct daily activities with the highest level of honesty and integrity, and always display a positive attitude toward fellow team members.
? Able to work individually and as part of a team to ensure superior customer satisfaction and positive working environment.
COMPETENCIES
? Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
? Exceptional customer service skills
? Be able to operate a smartphone and tablet
? Be willing to travel out of town up to a week at a time for training
? Possess basic and/or advanced trade experience preferred
? Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)
? Excellent interpersonal communication skills
? Able to work both independently and as part of a team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
? High School Diploma or GED Required
? Associate Degree preferred, but not required
? Must possess a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
? Must be able to pass criminal background check
? No experience required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
? Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
? Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
? Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations
? Employees may be exposed to moderate levels of noise and wildlife - birds, rodents, etc. (living and/or dead)
? Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
? Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
? Work in high or elevated places
