Pay: $40.00
Responsibilities:
As an Automation Technician Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a programming team at a technical level. Plan and evaluate the work performed by team and analyze the impact on the processes. Identify risks involved when recommending program changes and provide solutions to resolve complex problems. Work with operations teams on process improvement efforts.
You will have the opportunity to:
Leadership Tasks:
- Oversee and manage all duties of shift programmers
- Give support to production through assessing priorities and determining best approach to resolve in an efficient manner to restore flow
- Assess team performance strengths and gaps - where there are noted gaps, develop training plans to fill the gap and follow up to ensure plans are netting results.
Technical Tasks:
- Engage in thorough troubleshooting to replace or repair of production equipment and components
- Provide start-up support and training for control and monitoring systems
- Engage in troubleshooting to replace or repair equipment and make recommendations on replacements/repairs
- Designate and monitor the work of personnel in order to restore flow to production equipment
- Understand process control issues and troubleshoot repairs

Requirements:
We need you to have:
- 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- PLC Program Certification or commensurate demonstrated experience
Icing on the cake:
- College degree
- Manufacturing experience
