    The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist will join the multi-disciplinary team at the Center for Pediatric Therapies (CPT) in South Boston, Virginia. Part time or full time caseload. CF supervision is available.

    CPT is a full service outpatient clinic serving children from birth through age 21 in Southside Virginia. CPT offers a multidisciplinary approach to treat a variety of neurological and developmental disorders. Our services are delivered in the most appropriate environment for the child, whether that is in the home, daycare, school, or one of our outpatient facilities in Danville, Lynchburg, South Boston or Martinsville, Virginia.     The current openings for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist would service the clinic and Early Intervention populations or service the schools.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for the assessment of referred patients and providing direct patient care per physician signed treatment plans to improve speech, language, and feeding skills. The SLP works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, and service coordinators.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Must have graduated from an accredited school with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Current Virginia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure
    • ASHA certification
    • Current CPR certification
    • Experience in pediatric speech therapy (preferred, not required)
    • Position is open to new graduates and CFY candidates
