The Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Therapy Assistant (COTA) is a valuable member of the team at the Center for Pediatric Therapies based in South Boston, Virginia. Full time or part-time options are available.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is responsible for providing direct patient care to improve their development or rehabilitation. COTA's work closely with their onsight supervising OT. The COTA also works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including SLPs, PTs, and teachers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have graduated from an accredited school
- Current Virginia license and registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Occupational Therapist
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy (preferred, not required)
- Supervisory experience (preferred, not required)
- New graduates will be considered
