MAINTENANCE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in repair maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, industrial plant, or other establishment by performing the following duties personally or through others.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Reviews job orders to determine work priorities and schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
· Coordinates activities or workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
· Develops and maintains preventive maintenance program.
· Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
· Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
· Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor materials.
· Requisitions and oversees tools, equipment, parts, and supplies required for operations.
· Directs training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.
· Confers with management to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
· Learns and obeys the health and safety rules of the company.
· Maintains high level of housekeeping.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (associate in maintenance or electrical technologies preferred).
· Must provide evidence of a strong mechanical background.
· Must provide evidence of a strong electrical background including but not limited to controls, PLC, HMI, and VFD.
· Must exhibit a background in departmental administration, budget initiation, cost control, project management, etc.
· Must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
· Must have strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
· Must possess strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
· Must possess good computer skills including windows and associated software.
· Capable of fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
· Experience collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
