Red Hill Rediscovered: Sarah Shelton Henry, Life & Legends
Join author Mark Couvillon for this virtual presentation as he discusses the facts and myths surrounding Patrick Henry’s first wife, Sarah Shelton. Much of this research is newly discovered in his new book, In Sickness and in Health: The Marriage of Patrick Henry and Sarah Shelton.
About the book:
In Sickness and in Health highlights the marriage of Henry and Shelton – a previously under-researched aspect of Henry’s life. Couvillon’s book helps dispel rumors and provides more clarity regarding Sarah’s struggle with mental illness and her untimely death.
